Before he became a writer, Craig had many different jobs including a gardener, van driver, pizza chef, heavy metal drummer, grave-digger and university lecturer.

Now Craig is a full time poet and performer, having written pieces such as Poetry is Not Pants and I Like to Rhyme it Rhyme It.

After eight years he still can’t believe people actually pay him to go into schools, have fun and read his poems out – he believes he has the best job in the world!

He lives in West Yorkshire with partner Jackie and sons Ben and Jack.
